Business Data Mining (BU7143)

Business Analytics is about the translation of business challenges into discrete solvable statistical problems, the solving of these problems, and deriving meaningful insights and results for improving competitive advantage. To achieve this we will follow a three-pronged approach: Methodological, Statistical, and Technical.

Business Forecasting (BU7144)

Advanced Quantitative Methods (BU8017)

This module takes a deep dive in to the advanced quantitative methods applied in modern academic and industrial research. We look at how research questions can be translated into discrete solvable statistical problems, the rigorous solving of these problems, and deriving meaningful insight and results for improving research quality.

Operations Analytics (BU7706)

Operations management is about better managing the activities of a firm to improve its performance. In this module, you will learn the quantitative models and quantitative strategies to identify trade-offs, analyse inefficiencies and effectively manage a firms process of matching supply with demand.

Path Modeling, SEM and PLS (PLS)

This short course introduces the concepts behind path modeling for causal explanatory modeling. It introduces the use of Structural Equation Modeling as for confirmatory, exploratory and predictive research. We utilize SEMinR and SmartPLS to create and analyze Composite Models.
